About SMR&E LLC

SMR&E LLC is a full service public accounting firm that was established in June 2014 by Stephen Rice. The firm provides monthly bookkeeping services, prepares individual and business tax returns, assist in the establishment of new businesses, payroll services, consulting services, and provides audit and attestation services. As such, our clients include individuals, small businesses, not for profit organizations, and other entities. We are located in downtown Valdosta, Georgia. Our firm strives to provide the utmost in customer care and the highest standards in financial and accounting services.

Stephen M. Rice

Mr. Rice graduated from Valdosta State University with dual undergraduate degrees in Accounting and Finance, and a Masters of Accountancy. Since 2010, Mr. Rice has has been primarily focusing on taxation and compliance for small businesses, non-profit organizations, and individuals. Mr. Rice has an additional four years of work experience as an insurance agent for Woodmen of the World where he sold life and health insurance as well as provided financial advising services to businesses and individuals.

Mr. Rice is a licensed certified public accountant in the State of Georgia, and a member of the Georgia Society of CPAs (Valdosta Chapter)and a member of the American Institute of CPAs.
